Join Kripalu Yoga Instructor Nicole Stumpf for a 6-week introduction to the practice of Kripalu Yoga. The class will introduce students to the basics of Kripalu Yoga, including yoga postures, breathing practices, and meditation techniques. We will go over each posture in a detailed manner, covering body actions, modification options, contraindications to be aware of, and posture benefits. Students will leave the series feeling empowered to attend other group yoga classes or practice at yoga home.
Kripalu Yoga is a style of yoga dedicated to the cultivation of non-judgemental, compassionate self-observation. With this skill, individuals are able to witness their bodies and minds in an honest and heart-felt way, enabling them to overcome the obstacles that are in the way of them realizing their most healthy, balanced and joyful self. A regular yoga practice helps reduce stress, relieve tension, and support a strong and flexible body and mind.
